GPL Odorizers
GPL Odorizers LLC formed by rep agency Linc Energy in July 2015 acquired the assets and operations of the odorizer group. The Zeck name is well known in the natural gas odorization industry. Linc resources have brought the innovative and acknowledged Zeck design of accuracy, reliability, simplicity and secure containment (only two moving parts exposed to odorant) to the Industry with many notable advancements. In addition to Z9000 low-pressure unit and supplemental/portable odorization units, the Z10000 (10K to 10M SCFH) advances Zeck’s range. The Z10000 driven dual pump injection system uses opposing reciprocating pistons displacing hydraulic fluid in a chamber totally isolated from the odorant. The displaced volume causes compression of an infinite cycle welded stainless steel bellows, which displaces an equivalent volume of odorant in the bellows capsule that is continuously injected into the pipeline at any pressure up to 1480 psig. The reciprocation of the pistons is intentionally slow, max 25 rpm. By keeping piston speeds low (slow), pressure drops in the injector are minimized, and flashing or vaporization of the fluids is prevented.
